Yesteday, we went to Mt. Seymour in Vancouver to snowshoe! It was my first time snowshoeing and it was a really fun experience. The scenery was really nice too- the trees were covered in snow and everything was white and peaceful. This one part of the trail was really hard, it went up and down but mostly up, and my legs were burning. It reminded me of the grouse grind, but winter version and easier. We went off the trail for a bit and walked around in the snow that wasn't packed. That was really fun, testing out how deep the snow was, but i got stuck when i was trying to get back onto the trail...like stuck stuck.
I'd like to try it again sometime and seeing the other people up on the mountain skiing and snow boarding made me want to ski (i used to ski when i was three.) This was our last field trip and it was a really great experience!
