It was a really unique experience to be part of something like the AIM Games. The whole day was filled with excitement and the students looked so happy marching onto the stage during the opening ceremony and at the closing ceremony.
I was an assistant coach for Rhythmic Gymnastics and it was a lot of fun guiding the students with their ball, hoops and ribbons. Everyone liked the ribbon the best :) and I also ended up getting a ton of exercise too!
I have a younger sister with a disability (global developmental delay) too so this day made me realize that my sister could be capable of a lot more.
